Guinness Certificate

Post by joy54 »

The certificate for the July attempt has now arrived 5 months after submitting the material to Guinness. Hopefully I can add a fourth on Comic Relief Day.

How does it compare with the ones shown here?

(Favourably time-wise, of course, but I was more interested in an aesthetic comparison ;))

It is a new design but pretty similar to Hakan's except instead of a gold hologram it is silver. I tried to take a pic with my phone but it wouldn't send over bluetooth !!

I wouldn't say my hologram is gold - the appearance varies wildly with ambient light, angle, etc. Probably it's the same, I'd say!

Mine does go gold as well it depends on the reflection of light but its silver when viewed normally.

No, no stamps on my mine... I guess the hologram is cheaper for them in the long run...

If you break the record on Comic Relief Day then Guinness will have to design a bigger certificate in order to fit everybodys name on!

I wonder if there is a limit. Because there are mass attempts that occur like largest number of people jumping simultaneously etc. I doubt they can fit everyone's name on the certificate and probably just issue one to the event organiser...

Well they are these days due to saturation attempts.

Back in my day they were only being given out every two years or so ...
