Re: ZONE 1 WARM UP EVENT OR RUN AFTER EVENT 2009
I guess it is about time to decide when this will take place - either Thursday evening or Saturday afternoon. Personally I am free on both days so it doesn't make much difference but what does everyone else think?

Re: ZONE 1 WARM UP EVENT OR RUN AFTER EVENT 2009
I would prefer to do the Saturday as for Z1 I am already sacrificing one day of my holiday in Lyme Regis, Dorest in order to do Z1, do not really want to skip the Thursday as well!

Another vote for the Saturday as I have college on the Z1 week and it being just before exams I don't want to miss two days.

Re: ZONE 1 WARM UP EVENT OR RUN AFTER EVENT 2009
Personally I would say after last years warm up event being a bit of a fiasco with many people aborting and not making it back to the pub in time for a drink that we go with Saturday, We can call it a warm down event instead. This will also be the final round of this seasons R15 Championship so it's best to go with the day that will draw the largest possible entry.
One day I shall return!

That's fine, as long as I have five minutes free at 4:45pm on the Saturday to drink copiously (10th anniversary of the Division 2 playoff final against Man City)

Re: ZONE 1 WARM UP EVENT OR RUN AFTER EVENT 2009
We can't make it Thursday (our flight arrives at Gatwick 5:30p...). However, it's quite likely we could make it on Saturday, since we are staying in London over the weekend! The track closures are not that bad for the weekend either...

Not sure if we are still discussing this or have reached a decision, but I would like to vote for Saturday for purely selfish reasons, as it will be impossible for me to make Thursday.

Re: ZONE 1 WARM UP EVENT OR RUN AFTER EVENT 2009
Well I think we can safely say that Saturday 30th May is now the date for this challenge.
Bearing in mind that it is cup final day it could create one or two problems, if we start too close to kick off time. Normally we start at 1300, but perhaps we should bring this forward, another possible suggestion is that we have Willesden Green as the starting station and then at least we should be heading away from Wembley at the start rather than any chance of heading toward it during the build up to the game. Comments & suggestions welcome
