You have the reputation of being a former world record holder to uphold. Mind you, having said that some former GWR holders have never done very well in this event (you know who you are  )

My luck never seems to hold on Z1 day!

2005- 12th/18 (3:18:25)
2006- 2nd/16 (3:00:14)
2007- 15th/19 (3:21:48)
2008- 4th/20 (3:04:53)

My best place being 2nd in 2006 and that was pure bad luck for everyone else (as opposed to good luck for myself) as the Victoria Line became suspended just after we'd finished getting down to Vauxhall for our train to Waterloo whereas most people were finishing at Vauxhall so they couldn't finish!

It just goes to show that anybody can win this it usually down to a bit of luck on 1 change that decides it maybe we should have a betting odds system this year here is what i think the odds should be

Hakan,Lars and whomever else they bring fav 2-1
Starkey (Zone 1 record holder) 3-1
Joy 54 6-1 (despite poor record)
Scrxisi 6-1
Any of the Browns 7-1
Tangy 8-1
Greatkingrat 9-1
A2 12-1
Mr Dust Mask 13-1
Anybody esle 16-1
Me and Sara 20-1

or around those sort of lines.

Regrettably I may not be able to attend this year - the date clashes with the Southampton Beer Festival. Need to confirm with some friends exactly which day we're going to that though. Its usually not until June :/

Chances are another Yeovil fan will be coming too, so at least you'll have something in common if you team up with him.

(What an honour for an event! Both Yeovil fans and all five Gills fans in one place!)
