I was toying with the idea of having the day off, and this could persuade me to take a trip down to the big smoke. Although it would be fun to try one of the challenges I have yet to attempt (mouse, bottle etc), I would be happy to do a R15.

OK, I hope to make the Camden Town R15.

Ha, actually I was feeling like coming and asking the exact same thing. I'm up for something on Friday, suppose i don't mind, but I think it would be nice to do something other than R15. As fun as they are, it's basically all we do at the moment and you can get too much of a good thing. It's a shame the DLR extension to Woolwich Arsenal isn't opening until 10th Jan, otherwise we could sneak that in.
I know it isn't hugely popular, but I'd like to nab the South London record. Maybe we could do a rally start version of that? Was good fun last time.

Thats tough as that Camden Town start on an R15 sounds good! A vote perhaps?

It's already sorted R15 1pm Camden Town..... The South of the Thames has lost much of it's appeal IMO now that the ELL has gone..... But if anyone want's to have a crack at that in the morning 1st perhaps that would be possible.....
EDIT: Actually I am sure that South of Thames is not possible I think there is replacement bus service on SWT

Doesn't mean it's not impossible, especially for long distance runners like palkanetoijala and saratoijala.

Roads, Street & Lanes II into the mix? It's not R15, which means some variety, and was a very nice little challenge when we did it. Would recommend a slightly earlier start as it's in the 4-5hr bracket. Rules were to start anywhere, but compulsory finish at Mornington Crescent. Since Wood Lane opened, this is technically a new config. We should probably not ask Guinness about this!

Thoughts?
I don't mind this but we have to decide quickly so people can make plans... 12:00 meet at Argyll Street Oxford Circus if we do this or perhaps a bit earlier?

For the Roads, Streets & Lanes are we having a random fixed starting station or sticking with last years start wherever you want to and finish at Mornington Crescent?

Meet at Oxford Circus just to say hi beforehand. Mornington Crescent is reasonably OK for the pub after, it's a nice little pleasant walk from Warren Street through the back streets instead...
Yep same rule as last time, start wherever you like and must finish at Mornington....
Please add you name below if you are coming along, would like to depart Ox Circus by 12 noon so if anyone is running late then please call ot text me and head straight to your starting station....
We can probably sort into teams at the start I am feeling very lazy and will just duplicate last years route with one slight "tweak"
