Researching for possible television series

Post by ollie blackwell »

Hi, I am a researcher working for a television production company in London. We are interested in the tube challenge for a possible 1 hour television program. I am trying to reach the current record holders, to gain information and advice on the challenge. I am also interested to speak with anyone who has plotted a route for the challenge or knows about computer programs or programmers that have work on the route. We would love to get as much background as possible.
If any one can point me in the right direction I would be very great full.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Ollie,

As a previous record holder I can assure you you'll easily be able to contact the current record holders on this site, as well as one set of challengers who use a computer program to plan their routes. The saddos are on here all the time so expect a reply very soon. ;)

Hi Ollie.

I have nothing to offer you that you can't get from somebody else.

BUT

My name is Ollie.

That's got to be worth at least a cameo in your show, right?

Right?

Wow, what a response ! quite a world you've got going on here. Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I have had a few PM's from different people and I will try and get back to everyone shortly but I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone for being so enthusiastic and offering your assistance. We are still very early in the process and just trying to gather as much info as we can so we can put together a pitch document. It sounds like it would be really fun and funny thing to document.
Once we have decided what the next step is I will be back to pick your brains!
Cheers for now
