My suggestion is that we don't involve "famous" people at all ...

I don't hold out much hope/see the point btw. If you can;t get anyone, I vote last year's winner should be the default

Underground Ernie is Gary Lineker.
The former record holder who can't be arsed to do the challenge would be more than happy to come along and officiate in much the same was as he did a couple of years ago when he drew the starting station and waited in the pub to collate the incoming times.

Why not ask Annie Mole/the author of the London Reconnections blog?
Failing that I'll do it. Which almost guarantees a Brompton Road start.

I've always said that anyone participating should not draw the starting station in the interests of fairness.

Hence why i thought it might be good if we got a celebrity 30 mins of their time a lot of signatures and lot of snapshots. If u think a poll my might be good for the options then i put 1 up if u wish.

One thing is that any celebrity worth their salt will only do something if there's something in it for them. We can't offer them any promotion, and we certainly can't pay an appearance fee, and we're not a charity. So what we're left with is people who are possibly already interested about Tube Challenging or maybe the London Underground. The only person i can think of outside of our circle is Annie Mole really, but i think you have to be completely realistic and find someone within those bounds if we're gonna have someone to do it.

Obviously they would do it for free or not at all but its worth a try i propose that Hakan draws the starting station as the current champion.

I really think the whole "celebrity" thing is a bit cringeworthy to be honest with you.
We're going to end up with Celebrity Tube Challening on ITV, I can see it now ...

Here's an idea...
How about we have a random draw out of a hat to determine who draws the random starting station out of the hat?
(Waits for inevitable question of who draws the random drawer of stations

)

Neil you censor one of the seven dwarves, and then you say a Bad Word...

Funny isn't it?
The F-word is in such common use these days that it has lost its ability to shock. The word "rape" however has connotations that a lot of people find distasteful, which is why I am happy to censor it and then say "*******".
Of course, one also has to appreciate the considerable irony I attempted to impart with that post.

I appreciated it a lot, but I'd've appreciated it even more without that word.
