To be fair, I did drive my train through some stations earlier this morning. Does Castle Cary count towards the tally?

8/270, although we didn't stop at Wivelsfield, so that probably doesn't count.

Hello.

I have received an update by text from Tangy. He's just completed, at Amersham, in a time of 17h 49m 34s.

Team AA (Antony & Andi) finished at Amersham in 17:18:06.
I'm not sure how I managed all the runs and hope I didnt hold up Andi too much.
The last bit of the challenge in the NW Corner was painfully slow, as was my running speed toward the end.
Still I think this is a PB for me and thanks to Andi for dragging me around.

I can also reveal that Kevin & Nozza, did not complete having missed T4. We met them at Hatton Cross as we were heading home.

Team Ravencup finished at Watford in a time of 16:59:26...

But unfortunately we only mangaged to complete 265/270 stations owing to having to get back to Hounslow West in order to get the car. Missing an Epping train by two seconds at Woodford, at about 8am had a massive knock on effect and probably cost us the completion.

A personal best for me, though!

Provisional Result:

1. 17:18:06 Andi James & Antony Brown
2. 17:49:34 Martin Hazel
3. ??:??:?? (269) Kevin Brown & Damian Cook
4. 16:59:26 (265) Glen Bryant & James Laughlin
5. 05:39:35 (44) Matthew Scrivin

I had forgotten what your body feels like after doing the full network, at least I managed a PB, albeit by just 49 seconds!
Long waits at Northwick Park, Watford & Chesham ruined what had been looking like a very fast time.
Thanks again to Andi for dragging me around, I enjoyed taking on three new runs and haven't sweated so much in ages.

Our time to Watford was 15:51:21 those last 5 stations just seem to take forever, I really don't like finishing in the NW Corner.

269 stations in 18hrs 06mins 05secs

NW corner was very good but some ridiculous waits and missed trains by seconds lost us at least and hour and a completion...

We waited 8 mins for a MHE fair enough but then get back to Finchley and shows 12 mins for High Barnet :(
It was absolutely rammed when it pulled and we could have gone to MHE and back again in time for this quite easily....

Ran from North to West Harrow with "app" showing 7mins, 11mins and 12 mins for the next trains Eastbound... we made the 7 mins only to sit there for 15 minutes with nothing going east :( Total time platform to departure 22 mins

Just missed an Ickenham by a couple of seconds and then after a wait we pulled into Uxbridge our doors opened as the doors on The Picc that we needed closed :(

8 min wait for West Ruislip train

10 min wait at Kenton and then the Bakerloo Southbound was really struggling and taken out of service at Queens Park causing long wait...

5 driver changes on various trains throughout the day

And icing on the cake driver chatting to mate at green signal at Park Royal cost us on the run North Ealing  West Acton as train pulled away as we entered the barriers :x

From 4 pm onwards it was just one disaster after another and not being able to complete as we missed the last T4 train by a minute was absolutely gutting after all the hard work and running and effort that had been put in.... :(

A big thank you to Matt for keeping us hydrated, very much appreciated :D

And to our "not so" roving reporter Rhys who kept our spirits up and encouraged us along for a fair chink of the day

Congratulations to all who participated yesterday. I don't think I would have enjoyed it in the heat - I was quite exhausted after just travelling to Central London and back. Sorry I couldn't get along even to offer limited support.

I've added the completions to the the list in the top times thread.
