1070 is still up for grabs. Which counts as a "fact" about the number 1070 ...

1071 = 6^3 + 7^3 + 8^3. Which I think is really neat.

You cannot add a palindromic number to 1074 and obtain another palindromic number: http://oeis.org/A084843

From the Windsor and Eton Brewery, Conqueror 1075 is described as "an award-winning black, rich and complex IPA brewed from a unique blend of five speciality malts along with Cascade and Pacific Jade whole leaf hops". The name refers to the beer's original gravity, but also to the year in which William the Conqueror built the original Windsor Castle.

Although the A1078 is in Norfolk, historically there was a different A1078 in Northumberland.

And as a road enthusiast I can't fail to mention the A1079. Despite the four-digit number, this is one of the major roads in Yorkshire: the trunk road between York and Hull, around 40 miles long. When the roads were first numbered in the 1920s it was actually part of the A66, but the subsequent re-routing of the A1 left this bit isolated from the rest, and so it had to make do with the next available four-digit number (numbering rules being much stricter in those days).
