The aim of 1014 The G.W. County Project is "to create, on behalf of the Great Western Society, a County Class locomotive, in late British Railways condition, as authentically as possible, within cost constraints, to satisfy the requirements of the appropriate technical and safety authorities". It is modelled on the original 1014 'County of Glamorgan'.

1021 is the 9th primorial prime. Multiply together all the primes up to and including 1021, then add 1. The result is a prime number.

The Friedman numbers are the ones that can be written non-trivially using their own digits, with the operators + – × / ^ ( ) and concatenation. 1022 is a Friedman number since it can be written as (2^10) - 2.

It is indeed. And you've kind of stolen my thunder because I was about to say that 1024 is 10000000000 in binary.

1024 = 2^10 and is the number of bytes in a kilobyte, by some definitions. Others say that a kilobyte is 1000 bytes and that 1024 bytes should be called a "kibibyte". Honestly, you'd think that computer scientists of all people would be able to agree on how to count :)
