I did say don't, but it seems that Tube Geek has got his maths wrong, 675 is 9 Bells, which I am surprised at, as I claimed 16 Bells at 06:00, meaning there was 10 Bells excess, or I made a mistake!DavidC wrote:The scores are based on the claims made during the period, not the hours during the period that are being claimed. The first claim on Sunday 14th referenced a longer period from Saturday 13th than the dead time and the left to carry forward into the next period after the last claim on Saturday 20th.
Sorry, i did get my maths wrong. but does that mean i was right first time then?A Challenge wrote:I did say don't, but it seems that Tube Geek has got his maths wrong, 675 is 9 Bells, which I am surprised at, as I claimed 16 Bells at 06:00, meaning there was 10 Bells excess, or I made a mistake!DavidC wrote:The scores are based on the claims made during the period, not the hours during the period that are being claimed. No, as the amount of 'dead time' plus unclaimed time at the week comes to less than the ten bell 'excess' coming in as unclaimed time at the previous week.Tube Geek wrote:Sorry, i did get my maths wrong. but does that mean i was right first time then?A Challenge wrote:I did say don't, but it seems that Tube Geek has got his maths wrong, 675 is 9 Bells, which I am surprised at, as I claimed 16 Bells at 06:00, meaning there was 10 Bells excess, or I made a mistake!DavidC wrote:The scores are based on the claims made during the period, not the hours during the period that are being claimed. And that makes a difference because? That was an invalid spoiler!Iain wrote:ffs, the time on the previous post changed when I logged in
It was an invalid claim, followed by a spoiler, which you lose 15 bells worth of points!A Challenge wrote:And that makes a difference because? That was an invalid spoiler!Iain wrote:ffs, the time on the previous post changed when I logged in
the spoiler didn't reset!Tube Geek wrote:It was an invalid claim, followed by a spoiler, which you lose 15 bells worth of points!A Challenge wrote:And that makes a difference because? That was an invalid spoiler!Iain wrote:ffs, the time on the previous post changed when I logged in

If a player makes two or more spoiler posts in a row, then only the first spoiler will reset the clock. All consecutive spoilers by that player will be ignored and have no effect on the clock.
Invalid points claims are NOT counted as spoilers. Typos made when claiming for weeds or bells are counted as spoilers, so "40 weef", or "2 bellsd" are SPOILERS, and not invalid claims. Note that a "typo" refers to the mis-spelling of the non-numeric part of a claim. If a player accidentally types "30 weed" instead of "20 weed" when only 20 weed are available then it will be counted as an invalid claim.

There was an invalid claim first, so it doesn't reset, as there had already been a claim.Tube Geek wrote:Why not?A Challenge wrote:the spoiler didn't reset!Tube Geek wrote:It was an invalid claim, followed by a spoiler, which you lose 15 bells worth of points!A Challenge wrote:And that makes a difference because? Sorry - they are ready, but they aren't up! I hope to have the next week up today.DavidC wrote:Hi. Just wondering if there is a timescale for the next scores update - thanks.
