No, there is a valid reason! It is mathematical, as well!

I've worked out there is only 1 bell extra. Did the clocks go back?

The scores are based on the claims made during the period, not the hours during the period that are being claimed. The first claim on Sunday 14th referenced a longer period from Saturday 13th than the dead time left to carry forward into the next period after the last claim on Saturday 20th.
