I was thinking of setting up a table based on everyone's team. The only problem is, some people "support" more than one team, so do I put ALL teams in, or just the "main" team for each person?

OK, I have a list. Here it is:

Morecambe

I have disregarded non-league teams, and I may have to check a couple of these to see if they're non-league or not (Morecambe, Blackburn?)

Now, if I put them all in the same "league", it will be somewhat skewed at the end of the season, as some will have played more games than others, but whatever. I'll set it up and see how it goes throughout the year.

The table is taking shape. Of course, it won't be complete right now, as not everyone has played a game yet.

I'll probably update it every Monday or something.

But if two teams win 20 games, and one does it from 38 games and one does it from 40 games, then is that still going to be fair?

Arguably, yes. If Team A score 60pts from 38 games, and Team B score 60pts from 40 games (assuming no draws), then Team B will have lost two more matches than Team A.

OK, Pointer-per-game column is in. Obviously, Man United and Chelsea have to play a game to stop the division-by-zero error.

So, the question is - do I sort it in the traditional way, or do we go for points-per-game? I'm more minded to go with the PPG system, as it is fairer over the course of a season.
