Not to far to walk to get a bus number 89 into Bexleyheath Town Centre. So you do that, then...

straight onto the 99 to Woolwich Town Centre. Same stop, even! (bus stop S)

Then walk to King George V via the Woolwich Ferry, because the DLR is too obvious.

And onto the 474 bus to Manor Park. We can do this here too.

While on board the 474, you meet a hermit called Colin. You don't know he's on a bus if he's a hermit, but Colin accompanies you to Manor Park.

but he alights at Stratford for some reason.

Meanwhile, you board the 12 to Dulwich Library.

Well he went the quicker way, via Lewisham and Peckham Rye, before walking from North Dulwich.

You then get a 176 to Tottenham Court Road. Was it worth going via Dulwich just because there is no Central Line there?

And then the Northern Line to Mill Hill East.

And a 382 the whole of its route from Mill Hill East to Southgate

And then a W9 to Chase Farm Hospital.

Is nobody going to comment on the non-tube-station colour schemes?

Dulwich Library has a copper roof that colour, Chase is a bank with a blue logo, Farms are green, Hospitals are red, Poland has a red and white flag (can't have it in white though).

Climb up Pole Hill and look due south

to Greenwich Observatory.

You the go back down and get a 97 to Stratford International. (Not Stratford, for some reason)

One point for anyone able to correctly identify all eight services for Stratford. Five points if you are able to give the ordering I used.

But it's OK, Stratford's not far away, so you go there and then take a DLR service to Canary Wharf. You fancy actually going to the Observatory.
