It is not Tescos. The store name is TESCO. The only reason people say it is because they say "Sainsbury's", which is perfectly legitimate, as it refers to someone's name. TESCO is a concatenation of two things - T.E. Stockwell and John COhen, the co-founders.

Morrisons is pluralised, so that's OK. ASDA is singular, as is ALDI and LIDL.

It's as bad as people who say "MAC-Donalds".

So as TESCO is not a "name" per se, it should not be pluralised or have apostrophe S added to it. So bloody stop it.
