Get the X39 bus from Temple Meads to the Charmouth Road stop in Newbridge Road, Bath. You're now about ten minutes' walk from where I live.

Walk down to the Full Moon in Twerton High Street and have a couple of pints of Cheddar Valley cider... then catch the 5 bus to Bath Bus Station.

Which is strange, because you wanted the ferry to Gravesend, and now it's even further to walk to the terminal. But you do the walk to the terminal anyway...
