Hi John, that is correct. We certainly wont be sprinting around like a bunch of idiots, given the nature of the day. Only bits that we might do a dash is runs like Queensway-Bayswater and Euston Sq-Warren St, but other than those it will be a more leisurely challenge.Hi Soup Dragon. This is the no-running, take-your-time-and-relax version of the Bottle Challenge, isn't it?
I was thinking maybe to meet at McD's or KFC at Earls Court aftewards if that is OK for everyoneSoup Dragon wrote:We are planning to do it as seperate teams, and havent agreed on a meeting point for the end yet, although most of the decent routes that I have planned appear to end around Bank. Given that we are finishing at around 23:00 a nearby McDonalds would probably be the best meeting point.
Sounds good, 8.45 at Sloane Square is pretty much set in concrete but if you want to PM or e-mail your mobile I can keep in touch if anything changes....Starkey7 wrote:That sounds like a pleasant enough place to meet up, although way past my bed time. Do send me a private message when you've decided, and when you've confirmed the 8:45pm Sloane Square start time too. (Or just put it up for everyone to see.)
By the way, my routes finish at Bank too! What a coincidence.
Yes that often happens I have noticed, can go off in a tangentStarkey7 wrote:Yes, 8:45pm is fine for me. I'll see you then. Does it strike you that this topic is diverging, in a rather amusing way, from the thread's original subject?
