Bob Dylan is correct, well done! I wouldn't expect anyone to know the other...

Charles Dawes was an American politician who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1925 for the Dawes plan which involved German reparations after World War I. He was Vice President to Calvin Coolidge from 1925-1929, then became US ambassador to the UK for 2 1/2 years. In 1912 he wrote a piece of music to which lyrics were added in the 1950s. In 1958, "It's All In The Game" by Tommy Edwards was a number one.

This also makes him one of two US congressmen with a number one songwriting credit - the other being Sonny Bono from Sonny and Cher.

Based on the style of your other questions, is it something like Geoff Hurst played some county cricket?

Michael - yes, all three answers correct. Geoff Hurst played one first class county match for Essex (against Lancashire). 0 not out in the first innings and out for 0 in the second. As he was a wicket keeper, he never bowled, never mind took a wicket!

The authorities (i.e. the Nazis) had not even considered a non-German racing driver winning the race so when Nuvolari won, they hadn't got a copy of the Italian national anthem to play. Nuvolari solved this by handing over his own copy of it for them to play.

Widely considered one of, if not the greatest win in motorsport history.
