Through leaving on a later train, I have cut my time down to 4:21, with realistic interchanges.

Looks like I need a rethink of my route again

Started looking at this and it's a very tricky

Just checking that we are also including LO stations/visits as well as NR

So that's Shoreditch High Street, Hoxton and Euston.
Elephant and Castle is aggravating!

London Overground is part of National Rail. I believe the first post contains the list of stations!

Say I was finishing at Liverpool Street, but not arriving by NR, would I stop my timer when the doors close and the NR train leaves the station, or when it next stops and doors open?
Once the train's doors have closed, said station would surely have be classed as 'visited'

This has come up a number of times before.
You must either depart or arrive by train to count as a finish and you stop the clock when your foot first hits a platform after this has happened.
Examples:
- DLR Challenges are often finished at Shadwell, because you arrive at Bank/Tower Gateway having just left the other one and then take the first train out.
- Starkey famously finished a Zone 1 at West Kensington
- The Raven finished the Posh Challenge at South Ruislip after running to his final station Ruislip Gardens
I asked a similar question when first joining the forum, the thread can be found
here.
Of course, as this is tractakid's challenge, he is free to define the rules however he wishes. This is just assumption and convention.

Doors open at the next station.

But what about, say I was going from New Cross to London Bridge and I start my timer at London Bridge. Is that allowed?

Then the New Cross visit wouldn't count

If this is the beginning of the challenge, timer would be started on doors closing at NWX.
