Serious question? :?

Shoreditch station is only open until 2030, so there will still be many hours of other trains for you to get home on!

OK - TfL have updated their station closures list to show that Shoreditch will be closed from Saturday 10 June confirming that the last train on Friday will indeed be the last 'ever' train from Shoreditch.

Details to appear here over the next week regarding the meet up.

Neil - can you make a sticky please. Thanks

Well I have been to Shoreditch 1 less time than Ollie making that "zero"
As time is running out to visit one of the legendary tube challenge horrors, then work permitting count me in.......

I'm assuming this will be quite a big turnout, over on the closed London Underground stations websites they are already working out there trip to Shoreditch and pub trip afterwards.

Actually we need to make sure that we are at the rear of the back carriage to ensure that we ARE the last to depart from Shoreditch :P

We can hijack the rear driver's carriage!

Pete: This time it isn't of our choosing, you can blame TfL for not taking you into account when making this kind of decision.

Yes, we all need to stand right at the back of the 4th car and wave goodbye to the station as it disappears behind us.

Hmm...

How long do you think the station will remain open for after the last train has departed? I might take the last train TO Shoreditch, and then try and be the last person IN Shoreditch!

LOL - we could get the ukelele-playing underground busker to come along and we could all join in for a rendition of "we will not be moved" :D

I think it might take a while to get everyone on the train by the sounds of it, chances are it might run late so we can all claim a refund. I'm off work next week so I might make one last proper trip to empty shoreditch. Wonder what will happen to the roundels and all the station signs, anyone fancy bringing a screwdriver with them?

They'll either be scrapped or sent to the museum.
