How about a Wood Lane start to welcome it onto the Underground map?
I am happy to go along with that :)

Has anyone noticed the excellent R15 generator on Scrixcirisicis's site? You can type in the zones you want and closed stations, and even a starting station. I tried it and it gave me:

West Ruislip
Epping
Hampstead
Arnos Grove
Latimer Road
Bank
Arsenal
Queensway
Upminster
Wood Lane
Southgate
Southfields
Leyton
Embankment
Stanmore

Indeed we used it on the last R15, those listed above would take a fair while to visit....

It handles "Zones 3 to 2" okay actually; it just gives you a list of stations that are in both zones, which is what one would expect.

It does not handle "Could I have -9 stations please" so well, though.

I suspect we shouldn't use them next time. In fact I'll post what they were tonight when I get home...
So what were they?

I'm not complaining (hey, I'm on the list and that's amazing for a start!) but I read 'in a larger field' to be that they have done more than one challenge in the R15 Championship. Therefore, surely I wuold be higher than them as my record of 1 point to 1 challenge is better than, say, 1 point to 2 challenges, and therefore 0.5 points per challenge.

Like I say, it doesn't actually matter, I was just wondering :)

Hi Richie, I basically make it up as I go along but try to do it with an air of confidence to fool everyone. You have two more chances to improve your R15 status. The next round of the championship will be sometime in March, with the final event at the end of May (either B4 or after the Z1). The final event is worth double points, so in theory with 30 points still to play for you could still win the R15 championship :)

That makes a little more sense, though again, surely coming last out of seven is better than last out of ten? (I'll shut up now...)

ah yes, the old 'air of confidence' ploy. Quite possibly how a) I got this job and b) why I haven't been fired yet!!!!! And even though I *could* potentially still win, I'll probably remain near the bottom :)

There are no direct trains between Clapham High Street and Clapham Junction (at least not for another 3 years or so).

Also there are only three trains between Clapham Junction and West Brompton, so an alternative route seems preferable.
