That brings us straight into a Huntington's terminus.
Releasing the accumulated energy, I can slingshot back around Dagenham Heathway and into:
RICHMOND.

From where, a convenient SWT service takes us to:

Which means we must be going to
HEATHROW (presumably 1-2-3, with T4 station being closed? Like I said before, I'm at a disadvantage, being where I am in the world!)

I notice this game seems to make a lot more sense, with moves seemingly staying on the same lines -- although i don't quite understand the New Cross to Barking move??? Ive probably got myself completely confused now.

It's more of a case of picking up the rules as you go along, jonny.
The New Cross to Barking move was obvious, since I had previously played a parallel-diagonal interchange, and so the left-hand approach shunt was pretty much the only thing that could have been done.
Canada Water was in Spoon, and travelpass still had a grey token in hand, preventing northbound access to the Jubilee line.
But anywya, back into the game, and keeping my head straight I'm going to take the first service to BANK.

From where I'll head up the Northern Line to KING'S CROSS ST. PANCRAS

Nice move.
I'll take a double-diagonal backtrack to
ARNOS GROVE
passing my home station of Manor House and collecting one brown token.

Hrm...Why not go all the way up to COCKFOSTERS? Arnos isn't particularly useful, except for me to get home from, though Southgate's better.
So yes, I'll opt for COCKFOSTERS

From where of course just 2 & 6pence takes me to Golders Green on the Northern Line (assuming you don't mind me joining in so late in proceedings)

Well you can join, though by jumping to Golders Green, you've missed out Mill Hill East, leaving you well and truly in knid.
So from Golders Green, we head up to:
