As far as I'm concerned, the overall scores are currently as follows:
GuyBarry 10125
DavidC 8475
tubeguru 600
hopeful traveller 375
Going Underground 5
moley -4875
Do you agree?

I couldn't remember if I had or hadn't. I can't decide which way to go on it now.

Just reset all the scores to zero. I don't care. Then come up with a watertight rule, and stick to it.

How have you been running this game for four years without knowing what the rules are? I always regarded it as a bit of a joke, but I never thought it was that much of a joke...

Probably because my life doesn't revolve around this game. That's all I've got.

Nor does mine, but blimey, I'd have thought you'd have worked out the rules by now.
I stayed away from Tumbleweed for a long time because it didn't seem to make sense. Now I know it doesn't.
If you can come up with a coherent set of rules, I'll play. If you can't, I won't.

Current overall scores, as far as I'm concerned:
GuyBarry: 10425
DavidC: 8475
tubeguru: 600
hopeful traveller: 375
Going Underground: 5
moley: -2775
I'll keep posting them until someone argues with me.

Are your current scores based on being able to post two valid claims in a row (with an invalid one between them) or are they based on you NOT being able to do that?
Whichever it is, that's what we'll stick with. Do I need to change the rules to reflect this?

They're based on NOT being able to do that. This is what I have:
Totals at 23:59 on 01/08/2015:
GuyBarry 9675
DavidC 8475
tubeguru 450
Going Underground 5
moley -4875
Then:
tubeguru 02/08/2015 07:10 13 bells +975
GuyBarry 02/08/2015 07:18 14 bells -1050
tubeguru 02/08/2015 18:28 11 bells -825
GuyBarry 02/08/2015 19:28 12 bells +900
h. traveller 03/08/2015 00:36 5 bells +375
GuyBarry 03/08/2015 08:46 8 bells +600
moley 04/08/2015 13:11 28 bells +2100
GuyBarry 04/08/2015 17:13 4 bells +300
Agreed?

I'll take your word for it, as I don't have time to go through it at the moment. Do you want to be in charge of the scores from now on? I'm not finding enough time at weekends these days ...

Yeah, I don't mind at all. I promise I won't cheat.

OK, my first time in charge of the scores. Numbers in brackets are this week's totals: bold figures are the overall totals as at 23.59 08/08/2015.
GuyBarry (3675) 13350
DavidC (2400) 10875
leamfarrar (825) 825
tubeguru (150) 600
h. traveller (375) 375
Going Und. (0) 5
moley (2100) -2775
Good debuts there from leamfarrar and hopeful traveller, and quite an impressive surge from moley, although he's got a lot to catch up. Tubeguru would now be in third place if his last two posts had been valid claims rather than deliberate spoilers, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing. I thought that DavidC was going to overtake me at one point, but I seem to have held him off so far.
Have a good week!
