It is amazing what you can produce on a pc these days with copy, paste and paint etc.... :wink:

Seriously though may congrats to you both and the support team..... :D

I can only imagine what the tension and exitement was like on that last train to Upminster, not really having any idea if you would get the GWR or not until the very end......

So I wonder if Geoff is going to be tempted to come across the pond and reclaim the crown?

So Tubeguru.

How would you feel if I used the routes for Tube 7 or Tube 8.

<disclaimer>
I'm not going to...

Well, you could use Tube 7 if you wanted, as you didn't help with that one (even though it was our world record route).

Tube 8 - not too fussed either. I'll be honest and say that I think you'd suffer on the runs, so may have to alter it, in which case it's not actually route 8 is it?

I suppose I should only care if I wanted to go and get the record back any time soon.

That's brilliant, you two! Many congratulations on snatching the record. You'd better enjoy it while it's there, though, because Team TNT and Starkey are soon going to be the new record holders...

Er, well it was only about fifty minutes actually! I was looking at the map while having dinner and watching TV with my housemates, and just started to connect bits up here and there. It's almost fallen into place now though.

Yes, it is pretty much a total bodge! If we manage to reach Heathrow that night I'll laugh my head off.

Considering our team and 275 experience it will be miracle if we manage to get to Heathrow having done the entire network :lol:

Do you think that I should have a look at Journey Planner? I always view that as being wholly inaccurate after about 9am, when trains have been delayed here and there. And as for investigating Circle line times, well...

I've always maintained JP is shit. Tourists only.

Tip - don't rely on the Circle line for a 275 ...

It seems to me that relying upon the Circle line is no more risky than relying upon other lines' trains that run on the Circle line's tracks. And once you've got a Circle train, and made your journey, and stepped out at your destination, you always feel a sense of achievement.

You might be better off getting hold of a copy of the LU WTT which they seem to hand out without problem at the mo ....
