I would like a version of the song which substitutes every instance of the phrase "Tube Challenge" with "Big Pink Monkeys On a Rollercoaster"

Thankyou.

Those buying the Bakerloo EP for young children should be aware that the Mylo remix contains frequent repetitions of the word "motherf***er".
Do you want an emergency remix just in case with the clean radio edit?

That would imply that he's going to actually find someone crazy enough to release it commercially ...

That, while amazing, would be incredibly unlikely, since half the music on the EP is either sampled or rearranged without permission!!

Adham, yes, that would be rather good, thanks!

I'll see what I can do. I hope I don't go completely mad and pit it against every version of the song, though I really want to do something with the 10 minute live version... Now THAT would be HOT!

Sampling rights don't tend to stop some people nowadays. And there would be nothing to stop him setting up his own label and releasing music himself.

Now THERE'S a thought! Tubechallenge Records!

Hmm, on that point, are you therefore breaking the law by selling this product without permission to use its contents?

Yes. There I was completely wasted, out of work and down.

I was breaking the law with the last single too.

Everybody breaks the law.

Hey. Number 11 waiting in line if I remember right. :)

If you're making a slightly cleaner version anyway, I'll take that one, but don't make the effort just for me.

Cheers,
Ric

But there is some consolation as Mylo actually has the remix in his possession.

I'd like one too. I've NO idea what this is all about, but it sounds FUN, (which is something I really associate with). And I'd like to support this. So if the creator of this magnum opus will email me (qnh@hotmail.co.uk) and let me know where to send a fiver to, I'll happily help defray the cost of your printer cartridges.

From a VERY old (I've ridden a "standard" pre-1938 stock train in passenger service) recent contributor to your forum.

What course are you on again?

I might switch, i'd love to have hours to sit on my arse doing stupid things...

Oh wait, I can do that already!

Physics BSc, KCL. Finished my last lectures.... now I have to revise for 6 exams.

Sillert, email on its way...

I'll set up the Paypal account today but I won't be able to send any CDs out 'til I buy the discs themselves, and the Jiffy bags ... which may even be ... today.

UPDATE!

Image

The first nine.

01 Chelle
02 Chris Presswell
03 Jonny Lyon
04 version-3-point-1
05 Tubeguru
06 Pete (TheFatBuoy)
07 Standclearofthedoors (I've forgotten your name, sir)
08 Hakan
09 Patrick

I'll try and buy some jiffy bags today so that some of these folks can buy their copies immediately by mail-order. I'll update later with the paypal details. I may have left my gold stars in London, though...

I'll also try and buy 10 more CDs in order to complete the reserved copies and start on the "general public" ones.

I might save the extra postage etc and get it off you on Zone 1 day. You'll be in the pub later on, right?

In fact, I've just had a really mad idea. How much would it cost to release it on iTunes, or possibly do it as a podcast? Actually, shite idea, 'cos there's copyrighted stuff in there. Ignore me.
