are you sure it is a good idea to discuss all this strategy beforehand?

I'm keeping all the hard bits quiet. Notice my ambiguous mention of Westbound DLR. I could be doing anything.

As long as no-one mentions that you can do Paddington - Reading - Waterloo we should be OK.

There's always Stansted - Amsterdam - Heathrow Central.

I note you're neglecting to mention the Windsor and Eton dash!

1st April would be best for me. I'll be in London that day and then taking the Caladonian sleeper up to Scotland that night for a holiday!

Is this challenge likely to be daytime or evening?

Daytime, given that both the Posh and the Royal were starts between 12 and 12:30.

Given past precedent and the suggestion from the thread:

Everybody begins on the 12:10 southbound from Wembley Stadium?

Phew, I'd forgot about an evening commitment I have. I could miss it although I shouldn't have to with a daytime start.
Has there been a consensus on a West London pub should it be needed?

Not yet, although someone who lives near Ealing Broadway (which is a highly likely finishing point as only 2tph stop at Acton Main Line (6 minutes away) while 8tph head to Ealing Broadway (8 minutes away)) may know one.

Confirmed for 01/04. Start at any NR station (any of the 2500+ nationwide, advisable not to start west of Dawlish) between 1200 and 1300. This is actual departure time, though I will also permit starting on a delayed service which was scheduled to depart before 1300. If cancelled, challengers may begin on the next service to their first interchange after 1300. Any more bizarre situations are advised to be handled on a common sense basis, as long as you have honest intentions I will likely allow the time to stand.

Meet up point is yet to be decided and may well end up being one of our reliable central London pubs unless someone has a better suggestion, as I will unlikely have scouting time beforehand.

SEEING as this is an advertised event and you have 4 tube challengers or more who wish to play darts afterwards take the results and i add them to tcdl league

I was going to suggest the Town of Ramsgate PH or The Prospect of Whitby PH [both wonderful pubs] in Wapping, but if the consensus is then to play darts, maybe not
