I know someone that did a 3 corners cycle ride, ie Lands End to John O Groats + somewhere in Kent (where he lived, i think), he's a fairly keen road cyclist, and managed it in 2 months. http://threecornerscycleride.org.uk/

Well this will be a round trip from Bournemouth to Bournemouth surprisingly we have decided to include ferries across estuarys Falmouth-St mawes Lymignton-Yarmouth

Hang on if you're planning to catch the ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth, this means you're visiting the Isle of Wight! If so this makes it even more impressive if you are going to include all the islands around Great Britian, and an even more epic challenge! (Even if it only incudes those islands near enough to the mainland that you can get a ferry or ride across a bridge, that's still highly impressive!)

If this will be your rule I reccomend you make use of the little known Stonehouse Ferry in Plymouth, which goes from a road called Admiral's Hard (it's near the main ferry terminal) to Cremyll Mount Edgecome in Cornwall. A very big saving in mileage and it avoids the busy Devonport to Torpoint car ferry, which is a pain in a car, let alone a bike.

If you go onto Google Maps and zoom in until the scale shows 200 metres, all Ferrys that are run as public transport are shown with symbols provdied by transportdirect.info. It will take you an awfully long time to check all estuaries but could also save an awful lot of time and energy on the challenge. I'm meant to be working right now, so haven't properly looked, but off the top of my head I know the King's Lynn to West Lynn ferry is shown, as are a couple more in Devon: the Noss Mayo to Warren Point ferry and the Mayflower Steps/Barbican (in Plymouth) to Mount Batton ferry.

Exmouth to Starcross is a good one, but it is a small boat so I don't know if bikes are carried.

British isles does not include ireland we will visit only the islands where they are roads and ferry crossing to get across ie.tobermory,shetlands,orkneys and outer hebrides
