Weather is going to be a bit hotter than I would have liked, however, does the extremely mild Tuesday night mean less leaf fall?

Makes no difference to leaf fall. & It will be good to see the Great king Rat on a full network.

I think leaf fall is mainly a problem first thing in the morning when the leaves have had time to build up. It should be fine by the time we get to Amersham.

From what I've seen, the reason for the leaf time table is that special speed restrictions apply downhill from Amersham to Chalfont, because of possible extended braking distances. Going to Amersham is not affected.

I am going to be on the 0442 Heathrow Connect from Paddington which arrives at T4 at 0510 so rather than try and get to Hatton Cross I will be waiting on the platform at T4 for you.

ok i suppose it takes at least 30 mins from eastcote to hatton cross so say 4.30am
