Hello.

I did the post from my phone and it posted it twice. I hadn't noticed that they were different times, so just deleted one to be neat and tidy.

Yes, I deleted a post - but it appears I deleted the wrong one! or maybe I should just have left both posts there? Neil has access to the admin module which shows any deleted posts. It would also show if someone had removed entries from the admin log so he should be able to confirm that I've not deleted any others.

Root, thanks for bringing it up - it is right that it was corrected and I'm sure that Neil will amend the scores as appropriate.

I apologise to all - I had not intention of cheating. Nothing is achieved by doing so.

Funnily enough I also saw your comment but had absolutely no idea what you were going on about as I'm never awake at 01:38. I've only just realised that your computer is not running on GMT!

I suppose the only thing that changes is that you lose 75 points for a post which should have appeared. That's what I deducted when I "claimed" for my two bells.

You're right, moley, I'm on UTC+2. That didn't cross my mind at all when I mentioned it! It does sound like an honest mistake, anyway, and thanks for clearing it up. For what it's worth, I think the best (or fairest) option would have been to leave both of them, without deleting anything.

Had he done that he would have scored zero points - 75 for the first valid one and -75 for the second, invalid one.

Going Underground suffered the same fate one day last week when he claimed twice in the same minute.

It was an honest mistake but feel it is probably appropriate to take a -75 deduction.

Week 22 done, and here's how it looks:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... DhIejNwVWc

Not much to report this week, except that Moley moves up two with by far the highest score of the week. Urzzz1871 makes a new entry, moving up "four" places to 21st. The top three are all very close this week, but uefacup81 edges up slightly on Sam.

Total points claimed this week: 10275.

Can I see clarification over a point of play today please.....

Mon 28/11 01:24 Garion claims 85 weed - which is correct
Mon 28/11 06:17 Krollo claims 4 weed
Mon 28/11 07:50 Moley claims 6 bells
Mon 28/11 08:04 GU claims 105 weed
Mon 28/11 08:45 RichieG claims 40 weed

Now, my understanding is that Krollo could have claimed 4 bells and it would have been valid. However a claim of 4 weed is not valid as weed must be a multiple of 5? The clock is not reset. -4 scored.

I came along, noticing an invalid claim and chose to claim 6 bells.

GU came along and considered Krollo's claim valid, and mine therefore invalid and therefore claimed 105 weed. However my understanding is that the reverse situation applies and GU's claim was invalid.

RichieG claimed 40 weed which is a valid claim and does end this sucession of claims. However if my understanding is correct then with GU's claim invalid, RichieG could have claimed 55 weed.

My understanding is that you're right Moley.

Although, I'm unsure who this 'RitchieG' person is of whom you speak :)

Yeah, this is clear cut. Krollo has made a boo-boo by typing "weed" instead of "bells", and Moley's subsequent claim is correct. GU has obviously not looked closely enough at krollo's claim when making his own claim.

So, points for this passage of play will be as follows:

Garion: 85
krollo: -4
Moley: 450
GU: -105
Rich Tea G: 40 (which could have been 55 weed, as Moley's claim was valid).

Simples.

OK, week 23 is over, and the scores are as follows:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... DhIejNwVWc

Sam and uefacup81 didn't claim all that much this week, leaving it to Going Underground to make up a but more ground on them. Root takes over fourth place, and Moley continues to thrash everyone with 2215 points, putting him up to seventh overall.

Urzzz1871 is the week's biggest mover at the bottom, and new entry Iain comes in at 23rd place.

This week's top three:

Moley - 2215
GU - 1600
Urzzz1871 - 1490

Total points claimed this week: only 8840 - our lowest for some weeks now.
