Good luck parking :!:
I'll jump on the train, it's only 20 minutes from Hove.

11 June: Maybe Worthing
Using hovercraft, tram and train respectively (and other stuff too).

Might join you there, if it's in Ryde. Much easier to get to!

29:55 on my watch will be over thirty on clock time though.

Plus I lost my barcode so I'll show up as "unknown" at Tooting in position 282

I thought I was slow again today, but did alright. I deliberately didn't go too fast off the start, but my legs still felt like lead on the run in.

I saw a tube train on my way to parkrun this morning.

Also, while I was out, some cows arrived at my house.

I was Timekeeper today for the last run on the old Penrose course. Looking forward to next Easter when we will be back to take on the Hill.

Managed to run my fastest time of the year for the second week running so gradually getting back on track after the illness at the start of the Year :)

And also exactly half way to my next milestone t-shirt now, only another 125 runs to go :P (Spread sheet is 1 run short)

It's partly the warm weather that's slowing me down!

I see I'm the only one to do Medina I.O.W., but if you get the chance to go while they're at Ryde, then you should. It's a lovely course. Mostly flat, but with some steep hills (both up and down) and lots of terrain changes: grass, tarmac, a trail path through a shady dell and even a slightly sandy promenade. Well worth a visit.

Are Southsea and Medina I.O.W. the only two parkruns in the UK that are not on either the British or Irish mainland?

Depends if you count the piece of water that runs south of the M27/A27 as wide and deep enough to warrant the whole of Portsmouth and Southsea being an "island".
