I think the Underground History mob might be going there too, I will need to check their forum. I think what I might do is to catch the last train to Shoreditch, I will need to check the timetable, I know the last train starts at New Cross Gate. At least it should give a good seat on the last train back! Is anyone planning to do this too, or are people going to Shoreditch a little earlier. If people are then lets agree on somewhere to meet up at Shoreditch.

The last train TO Shoreditch departs New Cross Gate at 2019, at the moment I will catch that train, if anyone else would care to join me. I will probably get on at New Cross Gate rather than Canada Water as it is fairly easy to park around New Cross Gate rather than pay six quid to park at North Greenwich.

I will be in the area around that time, as I get in from work at 6.30pm and it's not far from Archway to the ELL.

The meeting/starting station will be Knightsbridge.....Possibly ticket office but more likely platforms...

Yes I'm up for the pub too. If anyone feels like starting their journey at New Cross Gate then I will probably be lurking in the ticket hall just before 8pm. Perhaps I should wear something fitting for the start of the world cup to make me stand out, so I better wear my Scotland shirt!

I would not anticipate being on the last train to and from Shoreditch - just the luck that TfL will decide that its staff only!

I went to Shoreditch last night to take some photos because sadly I have to work until 9pm tonight and can't make the last train celebrations etc. Lurking around the platform taking some photos and get talking to the driver and he tells me that I am the first lady he has seen taking pictures, asks me why I am interested in the underground etc. So after awhile he has to get into his cab and get going so there are no delays and he asks me if I would like to ride in the cab with him! So stoked so even though I disappointly can't make tonight - that kind of makes up for it a little bit I think!!
