Getting very enthused about this now - I work for a Government Department based in Victoria (don't ask!) and our staff often do charity stuff and get in the staff newsletter, on the intranet website etc.
I'm just wondering whether I could work up interest in an "official" team from the Department. In addition to raising a wodge of charity money it might also act as a bit of closure for us - I know lots of my colleagues were really shaken up by it all....
It's a shame that I don't work in the Department for Transport - we could have got the Minister to see us off

lol

I'm hoping 3 Jags (he bought an old XJS recently) doesn't take a great interest if I can get this off the ground - you'd be amazed at the kind of things they get enthused by...

Although the team t-shirts might be quite amusing...

Any news on the sponsorship forms, any chance that they will be up by tomorrow, as otherwise, I will have to wait a while to be able to print any out and therefore get any contributors!

Just come home from the Queen gig in Hyde Park.
Victoria line trains are now stopping at King's Cross again.
May mean that the Picadilly stretch could be open before too long...

Press release from TfL:
Service Update 15 July 2005
Following agreement with the Police the Victoria line is now stopping at King's Cross St. Pancras.
We will not be in a position to add to the current level of service on the Metropolitan, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines for a number of days.
The service on the Piccadilly line will remain suspended between Arnos Grove and Hyde Park Corner and for the foreseeable future.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work to resume full services.

Having just considered the layout off Kings Cross, it is not possible to get to the Northern Line platforms without going via the Piccadilly Line concorse. Therefore until such time as the Police finish with the Piccadilly line site, it is unlikely that the Northern line will be stopping there.

Correct, and it is insensitive to complain about any such thing in the aftermath of such a tragedy. I apologise.
