My problem with either of the plymouth area parkruns is I don't get home before 1pm. And the very early start is 4:45am leaving home.

I'll be running that weekend, so I'll see you there if you make it.

I want to as it will be my 20th different venue.

As I said before, bring your best legs for the hill.

It can't be any worse than the hills on the Bodmin Half last weekend.

That's not a mistake - Andi and SD finished together at Bognor Regis. How choreographed that was we'll have to wait and see. DrainBrain flew round Southsea today, and recorded a new PB. He overtakes Iain and is now right behind me. I need to go to somewhere flat to get some more time from somewhere.

Apart from that, not much happened. A tree fell across one of the paths at Mount Edgcumbe, so the event was cancelled and I had to go to Plymvalley instead. I did OK though, going below 26 minutes on a course I hate at the moment. But the nice man says that the meadow might be back in use in a few weeks' time. But that's no good, because I'm currently fighting at the top of the MEP points table!

Also, just about every decent runner in Devon was at PV today, so I found myself being overtaken left, right, and centre. And then the 46th-position finish token wouldn't scan because the barcode is worn away too much.

Basically we ran round together a few metres apart soupie even had a ten metre lead but on the final stretch I just had the legs allthough back markers did make a difference

Not choreographed at all, it was a genuine race all the way around, Andi pulled out an early lead but I managed to stick with him and even got in front a couple of times. Andi managed to pull ahead by about 5-10 metres in the final straight but I pegged him back with a sprint finish. A few back markers got in the way as we approached the finish but we virtually crossed the line together. Very enjoyable and nice to have a competitive race.

I love the spiral in the middle of Northala Fields. Very visually pleasing.
