You mean you don't set your alarm for 06.45 like I do?

Super morning at Northala with 5 tube challengers and my work colleague Terry :D

Great to meet Das for the first time and also to get Myles out for his first run for a while...

I bought some new go-faster leggings, and they propelled me to my first sub-26 time at Mount Edgcumbe. I took 47 seconds off my course best. 8)

Well, the spreadsheet is updated. It was a Northala Fields day out today, and not a single PB anywhere. I got a course best at Mount Edgcumbe, taking 47 seconds off my previous best. I have no idea how I managed that. Please explain.

The leggings made no difference, and so although it is unlikely that it was in your head, it could have been.

Most likely course knowledge you now know where to push and where to save energy.

Yes, I was wary of the places to push. I had a kid in front of me most of the way, and he kept putting on spurts to stay ahead of me. I got him in the end, and at the finish he told me he kept blacking out!

Maybe if you got off your arse on a Saturday morning and went for a 5K run, you might find out for yourself.
