Elizabeth Line
I was recently talking to a TFL member of staff who seemed to think that the central part of "Crossrail" would be classified as a tube line. Does anyone have any info on this?

Re: Elizabeth Line
It's not operated by LU. So would not be required for the record.

Wouldn't Uxbridge be closer than Amersham? The Orange One wrote:Reading start anyone? And don't forget the Slough to Amersham run, and while you're at it the Shenfield to Ongar run as well...

I would agree that this appears likely.nozzacook wrote:It's not operated by LU. So would not be required for the record.

Re: Elizabeth Line
And Acton Main Line would be the only station not served by LU trains as well anyway, so there wouldn't be much point in using itmoley wrote:I would agree that this appears likely.nozzacook wrote:It's not operated by LU. So would not be required for the record.

Re: Elizabeth Line
There's either 30 or 32 stations on the Crossrail route not served by LU (depending how you count the Heathrows) so I don't see how you can reduce this figure down to 1!!

Re: Elizabeth Line
But the original post in this topic only said the central section, and I don't think think Reading is centralThe Orange One wrote:There's either 30 or 32 stations on the Crossrail route not served by LU (depending how you count the Heathrows) so I don't see how you can reduce this figure down to 1!!

Re: Elizabeth Line
Acton Main Line isn't central either!! That would be Paddington to Stratford/Abbey Wood I'd imagine.
And how can you say part of the line is a tube line and the rest isn't?

Re: Elizabeth Line
That's what I was confused about in the first place! That's like saying only Stratford to White City on the Central Line is a Tube line! The Orange One wrote: And how can you say part of the line is a tube line and the rest isn't?
