Please don't call me a spammer - I'm not! I'm not in any way connected with this tune, other than having read about it in my local paper and happening to think it's really good.

Couple of guys from Bracknell have done a World Cup tune, based on The Shamen's 'Ebeneezer Goode', obviously with the lyrics changed to footie-based ones. Without further ado, here are some links:

Personally I reckon this is seriously bloody good, and I would put it up there with World in Motion and 3 Lions for footie anthem legendary status (yes, obviously the music isn't original, but it's *seriously* well done, IMHO, and if it gets the right promotion, I can seriously see people singing this on the terraces).

Aye, it's a cracking tune. Released on Monday (download and in those shop things that people used to go to once upon a time) - I'd love to see it get to no 1!

Soup Dragon and myself had a cracking song for the 2006 World Cup but didn't start our research until too late. Perhaps The Underground Masker could assist us for Euro 2008 with his musical skills
