Queensway reopening

According to tfl.gov.uk, Queensway has re-opened.

This will probably be of most use to challengers on alternative challenges such as Zone 1 and the Bottle. In fact, it should now be possible to get round the bottle in sub 2 hours - who will be the first to do it?
[Although it was possible beforehand, it's surely easier now, and avoids that horrible change at Notting Hill Gate]

With all your enthusiasm to get on the last train to Shoreditch, did no-one manage to get on the first train to Queensway? Disappointing!

Queensway is open - now it's Lancaster Gate's turn for a much-needed renovation.

After that it's Regent's Park!

Only a few weeks until Regent's Park closes, which ruins a few peoples zone 1 routes!

So now is the optimum time for attempting Z1 or the Bottle.
Myself & Going Underground are planning a bottle challenge on 7th July, starting around 20:45 at Sloane Square.

That's a very unusual time to go - Friday evening? Aren't there more party-goers and fewer trains around at that sort of time?

Furthermore, is anybody else allowed to join you, and do they have to be in different teams?

Going Underground is going to watch a 20:20 match at the Oval and fancied doing a challenge before heading home. I sure we would welcome more teams if anyone wants to join us. Have checked train times for a couple of potential routes and around 2 hours is still possible.

I guess the tube could be quite empty, probably more police than passengers !!

Yes, you can anticipate a very high state of policing on that day.

Especially because earlier in the day there is the two minute silence and memorial service in London.
