OK who fancies doing battle during part of peak time running on 9th June
I would suggest usual meeting place at 1730 hrs, draw randing station within the Bottle and aim for 1800 hrs start....
This should give us ample time to complete bottle challenge and make last train from Shoreditch at 2034 hrs
Only problem I now have is skiving off work an hour early

I don't think that is going to be feasible. If we start at 1800 we won't be finished until after 2000 (and possibly much later if there are delays) which will be very tight to get to Shoreditch by 2034.
Yep, on reflection I think you are right... should have done my homework first. I thought the bottle was easily sub 2 hours, but having now looked at this only the best times are around 2 hours.....

Myself, Going Underground, The Doctor & K9 will be giving the bottle a go this Friday prior to heading to Shoreditch. We plan to set off from Knightsbridge or Sloane Square at 1730 with the finishing station at Bank or Tower Hill, depending on which route we take. It should be fun in the heat and the rush hour but we have estimated potential times of around 2 hours 15 mins. Anyone who wishes to join us feel free.
