Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

You seem to have stopped a bit short and ended up at CARDIFF CANTON depot.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook will know that I went to see a recording of I'm Sorry, I Haven't a Clue last night. The variation of Mornington Crescent they played (I can't remember the name they gave it) had obviously not been researched thoroughly, as all the stations named had to contain people's names (however tenuously). The problem with this was that an awful lot of stations have people's names in, so they started to forget what others had said and repeated things like WESt Acton about three times.

The thing that interested me the most was that they seemed to be using a TfL map with the Overground on it as crib sheets, as places like DenMARK Hill were accepted, even though not on the tube itself. Should this have been accepted? Even more unacceptable in my eyes was the acceptance of Sidcup.

There was ultimately one more joke to be had with this variation - can anyone work out what it was?

Clearly they've been reading our story!

There is not, and never has been, any requirement for the moves in Mornington Crescent to be the names of Underground stations. I would quote you the rules but unfortunately my copy of them has fallen down the back of the wardrobe.

Well, they're quite simple anyway, so I'm sure you can work them out :D

A couple of years ago I was all set to buy a ticket to a recording of Clue in Guildford. But on the day the tickets came out and I went to buy one, the venue had a power cut and couldn't sell any.

By the time I was able to try getting a ticket another way they'd all gone. Typcial.

But I'm an avid listener. Will look forward to hearing Wes Tacton and co. making an appearance on the show!

For a small fee, I may disclose the full rules of Mornington Crescent to interested parties. (But I'm not saying how small...)

Actually, Jack declared the calling of Mornington Crescent an illegal move as there wasn't a name in it, which you've just disproved!
