I was up in town last Thursday, and I couldn't resist going to have a peek at this area to see how recognisable it is from the photo.
Virtually nothing to recognise at all. Apart from the white building in the background, and the curve of the road against the station.
It's amazing how development can totally transform an area such as this over the decades!

And yet, if the Romans came back they would recognise much of the road layout of the city within the old city walls.
