A source has confirmed that current plans are for it to reopen from the start of service on Friday 1 September.
The line is to be closed from Hatton Cross to H123 and H4 on Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 August inclusive.
This will allow the points to be replaced at the loop/direct junction (apparently they need it) - and for minor work to be done at the T5 end of H123.
The Thursday is apparently to allow Train Opps to take their trains EMPTY around the new loop and through the new junction arriving at H123 - none of them have valid route knowledge now and this will be under instruction.
For all of you who miss Heathrow Terminal 4....

Terminal 5 won't open 'til 2008 or so, at the same time as Phase 1 of the Terminal itself. This is the reopening of Terminal 4 station, on the Piccadilly Line, which will have been closed for nearly 2 years, following the completion of the bulk of the work on the Terminal 5 extension.travelpass wrote:Ach, I'll miss the opening of the T5 station by 11 days, as I'll be coming into LHR (T1) from Budapest on the evening of the 18th.
