Fantastic August Race around the Tube- August 13th
Organised by the Event Referee, this proposed attempt will take place in August on one of the days TFL are sending trains to Olympia!
This is a Full Network Challenge event.
Competitors must abide by all the normal Tube Challenge rules, and are free to choose to either log or not log the attempt, depending if they are aiming for a GWR!
I presume most/all people would start at Chesham, possibly on the same train. I suggest it would be nice to agree on a starting train, but not compulsory. Starting anywhere, any time is permitted.
This may be a good opportunity for newcomers to get involved, to try for their first completion!
Meet up afterward consists of posting on the forum the following day, as I imagine people will want to get back home and sleep!
Questions/thoughts/suggestions?

Credit to Iain for the name, by the way.
It would be helpful to know who has casted a vote, also, make sure that if you can attend multiple days, you select each one. If all 4 are an option, make sure to select all 4!
How far in advance would people need the date to be set by?

I'd like to see both Rhyses in the 270 club - perhaps another #TeamRhys event

Re: Fantastic August Race around the Tube
I'd like to attempt a FNC, only aiming for completion - but I'd want to do it on a Friday if only to be able to spend Saturday and Sunday sitting on sofa/in garden and going "ow!", probably with a glass of wine or two.
Therefore my vote goes for the Friday option.

Oh, and I'm never going to get a GWR but would love to go alongside someone aiming for a completion.
(not much of a runner - I'll go to the gym in the meantime)

Re: Fantastic August Race around the Tube
I've currently ticked Tuesday to Thursday... as I have an event Saturday morning that I would like to attend. I could still do Friday and struggle on Saturday, though. Seems like its Tuesday or Wednesday that are popular at the moment.
If the a date is chosen that isn't preferable for anyone, it would still be awesome to see an attempt that week. You just won't see anyone at the start or bump into anyone on the way round! (or, much less likely!)
