As said in Facebook chat with only 5 stations in the second envelope it will restrict the number of routes with most people finishing at the same station.

I disagree, people will already be spread out by the start of the second envelope, so finishing at the same station is unlikely when people are starting those 5 stations from completely different places.

Hmmm it was 8-7 the other way until recently so someone clearly had second thoughts....

I'm very surprised and very happy to see the result go like this. Honestly, I was surprised every time it went level, and thoroughly expected the incumbent to win in the end.

I hope that the vote of those actually competing is of a similar make up. I expect both sides will have received votes from those not competing, but I'd feel really guilty if I were the only one that voted 10-5 to turn up. I also hope that my hypothesis is proved correct and that it will be an enjoyable round for everyone.

Oh, and having read the article, it's more than a little ridiculous. Very overdramatic.
