I do believe a date has been set.

Haken has kindly aranged to bring a trophy.

I am asking Kev for his advice on drinking holes as he has far more experence than myself in central london boozers.

I do believe a quiz was mentioned? Excellent if everybody has time for a quiz then great. I've got a tonne of quiz books and would love to set up a quiz.

I do think we need to set a starting place. Now I do think Argile Steet was mentioned as the Zone 1 pre meeting place. Would be rather good as its right in the center so would be great to getting to where ever we need to go.

OK my friend, having spent several hours going around pubs on Z1 that Ric and Scardy were organising there were several issues with function rooms.. wouldn't let us have it on a Friday, no under 18's and minimum spend of £500 needed

However function rooms at the Horse & Groom and Angel in the Fields have been used in recent Z1's, no issues with any of the above bollox...

H & G is probably best of these two....

Andi normally takes care of the quiz.....

Yes Argyll Street at Oxford Circus has been used previously, last year was Liverpool Street and 2010 Shoreditch High Street

If you need anything else / help just yell :D

Even the Horse and Groom last year wouldn't allow me to book upstairs on the Friday, i.e we would be mixing with Joe Public. Thankfully as it was quite a nice day many would be patrons were outside rather than sitting upstairs hence we virtaully had the whole room to ourseves.

I didn't check Angel in the Fields last year...

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

To be honest very few Joe Public venture upstairs much before 6-7pm so should be OK if that's the same deal again....

As for the meeting place, Oxford Circus, is you say very centrally located in terms of ease of getting to/from but on the flipside is very busy and hardly any space for all the group to congregate without getting in Joe Public's way.

This was the reasoning behind last year's choice of Liverpool Street where it is still relatively easy to get to/from but also has loads of space (like that plaza outside McDonald's) for us to meet up easily and is pretty quiet at that time of day, where everyone is in thier offices.

Just a few pointers, but the choice is yours.
