The experience of helping out Andi and Myles last night got me thinking.
Not everyone has a smartphone and even then, browsing the Internet for timetables, departure boards, route planning etc while on a challenge can drain the essential battery life. Therefore, I am happy to offer ANYONE help and information mid-challenge from "The Raven's Nest" (my house) and send said information via text/tweet. Texts/tweets after 5pm would be preferred. Also, some warning will be useful!
All information will be treated with upmost confidentiality/privacy.
Please PM if you require any services!

Re: "The Raven's Nest" Service
I thought Andi was proud of using no technology on challenges....
He goes on about it enough anyway!

Re: "The Raven's Nest" Service
well i dont when its my challenge i prefer to use my feet i even dont take my door position sheet and actually try and remember them all in my mind the greatest technology a person can have at their disposal. This was an exception in Myles case he was going so well he even surpassed my route planning by being so fast hence at Canons Park the bus app would have been useless as it was wrong as usual anyway.Sam wrote:I thought Andi was proud of using no technology on challenges....

I think its very charitable of Glen to offer help like this and im not proud of not using the technology if i did have some sometimes i might make better decisions like to wait for a bus or go for a run sometimes because a train is no where near the station i am but is up the road.
