The Rainbow Challenge (Postponed till further notice)
Just an idea I thought of:
Similar to the Park and Compass challenges the idea is to visit all stations with the name of colour in it name in the quickest time possible. The London Overground and Docklands would also be induced in the theme of all colours.
Station to visit would be:
Redbridge
Turnham Green
Parsons Green
Whitechapel
Stepney Green
Willesden Green
Green Park
Golders Green
White City
Wood Green
Bounds Green
Blackhorse Road
Blackwall
Greenwich
West Silverton
Harringay Green Lanes
Bethnal Green
Kensal Green
North Greenwich
Blackfrairs
Goldhawk Road
Greenford
Limehouse

You can add Kensal Green, North Greenwich and Blackfriars to the list.

Good spot and there may be others, once we have clarified the total stations I would be up for a go at this onegreatkingrat wrote:You can add Kensal Green, North Greenwich and Blackfriars to the list.

Re: The Rainbow Challenge
I think a similar thing happened when I did the 'Not In London' challenge (stations named after places outside of London; included Kentish Town... that's how bad it got) and the 'Pirate Challenge'...Going Underground wrote:Absolutely fine The challenge is getting longer....greatkingrat wrote:Limehouse at a push?

Re: The Rainbow Challenge
Hmmmm.... I going to draw the line at not including these two. Only stations that have a colour as its prefix, suffix or as a separate word in its title will be included.Root wrote:Here are some less obvious ones:

Re: The Rainbow Challenge
On paper challenge maybe? My immediate idea was a Redbridge start, then down to Leyton, bus to WC, across to Blackhorse Road, up to Harringay Green Lanes, then bus/run to Manor House, up to Bounds Green via Wood Green then back down to Holborn, across to Mile End via Bethnal Green, down to Whitechapel via Stepney Green, then depending on LO timings either go down to Shadwell and across, or go down to Tower Hill and run to Tower Gateway and across, then go through Limehouse and Blackwall to West Silvertown, then back to Canning Town and down to Canary Wharf, run to Heron Quays DLR, and down to Greenwich. Then depending on Blackfriars LU station being allowed, then either up to London Bridge and up to Bank and run to Cannon Street and through Blackfriars to Westminster and up to Green Park. Otherwise continue to Waterloo and up to Green Park. Go to Hammersmith, run to the other, go up through Goldhawk Road to Wood Lane and run to White City, then onwards to Greenford, then by either NR or Central to Ealing Broadway. District through Turnham Green to Earl's Court and down to Parson's Green. Up to Paddington, then Bakerloo to Willesden Junction via Kensal Green. Then LO to West Hampstead, up to Willesden Green and back, then finally across to Hampstead Heath and run to Belsize Park and up to Golders Green, and depending on Blackfriars then down to KX and Thameslink to Blackfriars.

Re: The Rainbow Challenge - Friday 21th February 2014
Right, after over two years of suggesting the challenge, anyone interested in doing the Rainbow Challenge on Friday 21th February 2014?
