OK, so we've been going at this for 15 weeks now, and here are the scores obtained so far:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... c&hl=en_US

Despite taking a week off from coming first, Sam is back to her old ways. Having said that, it was a dead heat between her and uefacup81 on Sunday afternoon, but he failed to claim any more points. Going Underground takes third place for this week.

With regard to the whole negative points thing, I have added a small piece to section 2 of the rules (invalid claims) about how the scoring now deals with claims for negative numbers of weed and bells. Anyone doing this will have that positive number of weed/bells deducted from their score. So The Raven loses one point for his -1, and greatkingrat loses 100 points for his -100 claim.

Apart from that, Rich Tea G has come from nowhere to score 475 points this week, propelling him up the dizzying heights of 18th place. scrxisi is now in danger of losing a further place to mullardo, if mullardo can resist the urge to make his regular hilarious claims.

Other than that, it's business as usual, and the total number of points claimed this week was 9254.

It's not "business as usual" - I've moved up to ninth! I think that's my first change of position since week two.

But the rules didn't say that at the time I posted. If you are not going to add 100 points to my score (as per the rules at that time), then it should be treated as a spoiler.

OK, to be fair, you've got your 101 points back between you.

Neil, instead of starting a new thread each time with the post details from the end of the last one, why not split the topic and start a new one with (in this case) GKR's post heading the new Tumbleweed thread?

OK, week 16 is over and not much to report this time.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... c&hl=en_US

uefacup81 edges closer to Sam, but this week's winner was Going Underground. Only Garion and Rich Tea G make up places this week.

Total points claimed this week: 9890.

And so week 17 comes to an end.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... c&hl=en_US

This week's clear winner is uefacup81, followed by Sam and Going Underground (no surprises there then).

The closeness in the group below the leaders has resulted in Root gaining three places this week, to get just ahead of Garion. StonePony is a new addition to the game and get 575 points in, giving him 19th place.

A new record for points claimed too: 10190 this week. That is a record isn't it?

It's the end of week 18.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... c&hl=en_US

Going Underground is the big sorer this week, with Sam in second and er, someone else in third. Uefacup81, probably.

Mullardo, moley, Rich Tea G and Stonepony are the upward movers this week. The losers are scrxisi, tangy, krollo, Starkey and MylesHSG.

Total points scored this week: 9760.

How did mullardo get 0.38 of a point?

If you look back through this thread you will see that Mullardo made some silly claims over a period of time, including things like 4 weed and Pi weed etc.

Under those circumstances I decided that if I could interpret his claim numerically then he would lose that number of points as a penalty. Therefore he lost 3.14 points for Pi, 0.33 points for "one third weed", and so on.

Week 19 is done and here are the scores:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... DhIejNwVWc

New player hopeful traveller comes in 22nd place after his first week. There isn't much movement, and uefacup81 moves to within 2000 points of Sam, who continues to score well despite claiming to be too busy/not interested/not sad enough etc.

This week's top three are uefacup81, Root and Going Underground.

Total points claimed this week: 10730.
