As Mill Hill East is single track they will have to cancel a normal train to allow the railtour up the branch.

Therefore I wonder if they will let normal passengers on for that section? It would seem unfair to make the good citizens of Mill Hill East wait up to 30 minutes for the next train just because a railtour is running.

You could always try busking to raise the money for a ticket! Is the video of you singing still on youtube?

Anyway why go from Golders Green to Finchley Central by tube when a bus would take you up the Finchley Road fairly quickly?
Not sure "singing" is what you would call it

I think the answer to this was the good people of Mill Hill East did have to wait a while. The 38 stock certainly didn't pick up at Finchley Central and the MHE train just sat in the branch platform until it had left.

I took a few photos of the first tour which are at http://inspectorsands.fotopic.net/c1277036.html

Great to see the "38" stock out and about again, and yes there were plenty of passengers moaning and groaning at Finchley Central in the pouring rain around 7pm about the delay to get to Mill Hill East...

What are these trips actually for (other than to cause yet more delays on already-congested lines)?
