I agree Jonny, lot's of people seem to have vanished over the past 6 months which is a shame because the forum was very active when I first joined. Hopefully we can get some frech blood soon. I'm trying to get coverage for our CiN attempt in order to promote tube challenge, but it's hard work getting the media interested.
One day I shall return!

I'm still loitering, although can't make it down to London much at the moment.

Work are however sending me there on Wednesday 14th Nov with an expected finish time of 15:30 and a train ticket home :)

I wish I could make it for CiN, but too many people are off already. :(

I know exactly what you mean Jonny.......

Everytime you used to log on there would be plenty to read and it used to take ages to catch up on all the news if you had a week away

I think that several of of our regular contributors from 18 months - 2 years ago have moved away from London and as there was far more activity both on the forum on challenge wise.........

Like Soup Dragon says a bit of media interest wouldn't go a miss, just wait until "The Tubechallengers" hit the TV screen's on Eggheads.. :P

As per A2, I'm still lurking around - it's just that circumstances (being a poor impoverished student) are making a full 275 or any form of challenge somewhat more difficult these days!

I often log on and there are others users on at the same time, so I think people are regularly reading or looking for any new posts.......

Keep up the good work on your challenge website Jonny, we are still waiting for GWR to confirm so you can add our time

I think lot of tube challenging ideas have now been discussed. I think if people want to keep the forum active then you have to ask questions, even if its which tube station you dislike most!

That's what you think! We've still got stacks of ideas up our sleeves (I can already hear Tubeguru groaning at the prospect). So watch this space for more details. Some of the challenges we are thinking of would be quite different to those already attempted and would require a bit more thought when it comes to route planning.

Obviously the Full Network remains the pinnacle of Tube Challenging but how much more can be discussed about this that hasn't already been mentioned on the forum.

We were worried about the lack of activity on the forum before the Z1 challenge earlier in the year - thought thatthe event itself might be quite small.

However it turned out that it was more that people were busy/away from London, and that there weren't as many informal challenges going on. Interest in the event caused a spike in activity on the forum just before and after if I remember right.

But there does seem to be less news of people sharing their first experiences of having a go at the 275, which is a shame as it's about the most interesting thing to read on here I'd say, as well as obviously meaning that new people are getting involved.

I've not vanished, I'm just very busy and not very vocal around these parts.
What would I know? - I'm from Yorkshire for starters...

I'm still here, though I will admit that it has been around half a month since I last logged onto the forums, been busy with Uni and other things (obviously the marathon took up a lot of my time with training etc), and also, as Neil will know the feeling of, I guess after getting the GWR I lost interest in Tube Challenging for quite a while.
But I am still alive!
