Don't forget Bacontree and Banger Lane...
First to 100000 in the 2015+ Tumbleweed contest. Winner of a few rounds of a diverse range of quizzes/games. Some decent times in alternative challenges as a fiftysomething who merely walks briskly. Briefly led All The Actons.

One suggested to me* in the pub on Wednesday - Multiplayer Challenge.

Visit all the station as a small team (say 2-5 people) with the option to split up to visit stations simultaneously.

The easy way to do this would be to divide the network up, have everybody start at the same time and do their assigned bits. The clever way would be to have communication during the challenge, so if someone gets behind with their set of stations someone else can cover part of what the delayed person had planned. Added to this the complication of lack of phone signal on half the network.

*One of my friends has a brother who's interested in the Tube Challenge and it's alternatives. Not sure if they're on this forum. Also can't remember if it was my friend or their brother who came up with this idea.

Teams of 5, four have an easy life doing the extremities, the fifth runs round like a lunatic doing a zone 1 on their own
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

I'd argue some of the extremities are harder. High Barnet - Cockfosters is a long way, and uphill whichever way you do it!

I see what you mean, although I usually catch the bus for most of the hill on your example in reverse! I was thinking the relentless changing and running was harder than having longer rides and fewer but longer runs.
