I think I stand a good chance, during the break I majorly increased my running (to the point where a non-parkrun run has to be at least 10k, else I wonder why I bothered going out) on top of daily walking/cycling routines, so I feel I can pick up where I left off.
Told you so.

Due to travellers at Bournemouth a quick change to another parkrun yesterday. I can understand why Itchen valley is seen as one of the hardest parkruns. Its fairly flat but very twisty and narrow. Lots of horse shit and mud on the bridle path part of course and lots of tree roots on the forest part!

Buggy suspension was required!

Nice to do a different course but I think I'm limited by my daughter's bladder to 1 hour radius from my home.

Well done James, I'd wager that you still have a minute or two that you can take off your time. There is no reason not to keep on improving at your tender young age!

Here are this weeks stats.

I had to really bust a gut to take Gold from Andi at Queen Elizabeth, just about managed it with 10s to spare.
It's a lovely course but I won't be rushing back. Parking is £2.50 for one hour, but doubles to £5 for two hours, no dicount for parkrunners.
We were there for three hours as we stayed and had brekkie and played a few games, three hours parking is £7

I do apologise for no lift Andi. Going to Itchen valley was very last minute!

So today I ran at Nonsuch, I was supposed to take it easy as I have Paddock Wood half marathon tomorrow.
I was aiming for a relaxed run of 21:59 to try and gain a Stopwatch Bingo. Somehow the running seemed extremely easy today and somewhat annoyingly I managed 20:58! Oh well, serves me right I guess for intentionally trying to run a bingo number!
At least I managed to tick another N off the 'Name Badge', just one more N and an O to complete that challenge.
It was almost perfect conditions for a fast time today, and without trying to run within myself I'm sure that another sub 20 would have been on the cards. My GPS shows the course about 90m short, not sure if that is down to losing GPS through trees or the fact that some corners seem easy to cut? Anyhow, I will be taking it REALLY easy tomorrow, as I have Brighton marathon next Sunday. 1:50 to 1:55 is my target time.

One of my birthday presents is annual parking to Moors valley so I'll be doing said parkrun a few times in the next year.

Daughter run her first sub 20 minute junior parkrun today. Sorry, I'm a proud dad!

Give it a few years and she'll be faster than me!

Today inaggural saw 3 tube challengers the 4th i let him explain his woes of getting to sutcliffe hall parkrun i wonder if we were the only 3 to retain our londone status i didnt see many tourists there so its just possible tube challenge team rule the parkrun londone?

happy nice course can see problems with finish area though but pancake flat and fast iimproved my re-started parkrun career by 1m 7s today could have done better but its all about what you can do.

I took it very easy at Riddlesdown ahead of the Brighton Marathon today. I managed to fudge a time of 27:59 so I could tick off a Stopwatch Bingo!

If anyone wants to follow me (Antony Brown) in the Marathon today you can download the Brighton Marathon app.

Here are the stats following yesterday's runs

Sadly lost my oyster wallet somewhere en-route to Sutcliffe which had debit card, railcard, train tickets, parkrun barcode and around £50 cash. Realised coming into Clapham Junction so turned around headed home and blocked card. Gutted was really looking forward to Saturday :(
